LABEL REDESIGN
Ellis Paint launched this summer a re-design and update of all labels for Hy-Lux, Shaft-Lac, Primer and Solvents/Reducers as shown below. The label evolution comes as a result of our logo evolution earlier this year. These simple, but very effective labels have been specifically designed to promote a new way to look at solventborne and waterborne enamels in connection with a company that is constantly thinking forward.

Ellis Product Evolution.

The picture is complete! All the pieces are in place and we are pleased to introduce our new labels, product line and logo. It has been a wonderful time of development and creation that will continue in the same uplifting spirit for a long, long time to come. We are excited to be able to offer a complete variety of products from paint to application equipment and waste recycling.

Our flexibility makes it easy for you to choose pieces of our total products and services that will fit perfectly in with your assortment to complete your offering to your customers.

These simple, but very effective labels have been specifically designed to promote a new way to look at solventborne and waterborne enamels in connection with a company that is constantly thinking forward. The colors we have used are a combination of something old, something 'borrowed' and something 'blue' - compbined with something new... The thought behind the color concept is that all Waterborne enamels have been given lighter 'water' colors, like the top row in the picture above, and all solventborne enamels have been given darker colors, like the bottom row in the picture above.

In addition to the main color difference of the cans, we have made the overall name of each product line (i.e. hy-lux,) black for the waterborne series, and white for the solventborne series for better contrast. A great way to separate water from solvent - not only in name, but also visually.
